Cantus
By almost any measure, our ability to communicate has never been more advanced. Nevertheless, people and communities – though linked by technology – still struggle to connect in meaningful ways. Cantus explores the challenges of connecting in our modern age through works by Sibelius and Saint-Saëns paired with such contemporary composers as Andrea Ramsey, David Lang, and Christopher H. Harris. Alone Together also features a new work by Libby Larsen, commissioned for Cantus.
