An afternoon of music, storytelling and history with the CBC’s Tom Allen and friends.  JS Bach’s Long Walk in the Snow takes you along on a journey: a 400 km odyssey to a glittering northern port city with street fights, big business, insight, fulfillment, the father figure he didn’t know he needed and, quite possibly, love.

With glorious music from former KW Symphony Principal harpist Lori Gemmell, vocal virtuosa Suba Sankaran, multi-talented Dylan Bell and master storyteller Tom Allen, JS Bach’s Long Walk in the Snow brings that troubled young man in from the cold.

This concert is part of a full day devoted to music inspired by J.S. Bach.  The program includes:

Elora Sings Bach at 10:30 am

Elinor Frey plays Bach at 4:00 pm

Immortal Bach at 7:30 pm
